saw others talking about this site on another fourm, though the L community would appreciate it.

Click on the movie link at the top and check out the skyline on the dyno and at the track.

I have worked in exotic cars for about five years, and I have driven/owned some of the coolest cars out there, and the only JDM spec car I want is a Skyline GT-R.

I have seen these cars pump out over 1100hp at the tires. Unfortunately, the only version we (US) will ever see is the “plain Jane” version.

A 2002 R34 GT-R will run you about $120,000 including EPA/DOT, but not including shipping, and fee’s.

For those who have the cash. http://www.motorex.net/m_uspricing.html

We've got 4 of em down here in Miami for FF2. They are very nice cars also got 4 EVO's and ill be damned if that EVO isnt the quickest car out of the hole on street tires that i've ever seen. Still would rather have the skyline though.

Almost forgot the best part, when we're done filming 1 of each gets sent back to Universal for promotional purposes and the other 6 all get sent to the crusher!

When I was stationed in Okinawa in 2000 I had a 91 Skyline GTSt, not as fast as a GTR,but still really fast. The crazy thing is I only paid $2,500 for it. I emailed a company here in Cali that makes them DOT approved and they told me it would cost $16,000 to convert it to US standards, even if I paid to have it shipped here. I told the guy he was crazy. He got a little pissed. If I go back over there for 3 years it will be a must to get a GTR. Sorry to say if I could afford one here I wouldn't have the 2002 L.

EVO hits US dealers in 12 days....

Wish I had a DP for one of those....

Otherwise, the Skyline is already here. It's the Infinity G35 Coupe.... Normal Skyline. The GT-R is expected to hit the US shores at the end of next year, with an Infinity badge, and a price tag of $95k!

Just saw the Evo pics. Too dammed ugly for me. I could find something as quick for that kind of money and not so ugly.

Yeah, but you're talking about an AWD 4-Cyl turbo, that pulls deep in the 13's.... Personally, I think it's gorgeous, so I guess that helps

No, you're wrong. It's a 2.0L 4-cyl. My bro-in-law has an EVO VI. I know my EVO's.
