FTW Lakewoods?

Were you able to get the snubbers to line up directly below the front eye on the spring as per instructions? Mine is just behind the eye on the smooth part. The length of the bar+ the brake lines(I think) behind the axle wouldn't allow me to have the snubber under the eye. How about you guys?

mine lined up to the eye on the drivers side but not the passenger side. I'm not sure if they both need to be lined up to the same spot on both ends.

I know there are others who have them installed with the snubber behind the spring eye, contrary to Lakewood instructions. Any way to get them between the brake line and the axle housing? If I remeber right the space is about 1 inch.

That's where mine are at....between the brake line and axle, the snubber falls short of the spring eye, which is cool.......just need to adjust snubber to the way you launch to get proper preload and unload........

55,
I was able to mount the one on the drivers side between the axle and the brake line but not on the pass. side. The line is mounted to the axle on that side. Did you move it and relocate the brake line?

Mine is on the flat part behind the eye. Couldn't move up b/c the exhaust was in the way. I would have them even on both sides, regardless of where the snubber is.

No, both brake lines were a 1'' to 1.5 off the axle......I just made sure to slapper bar was forward enough not to touch on the brake lines....don't want any vibration causing wear on a brake line....

How do you adjust the snubber so that the truck luanches straight? My truck always swayed to the drivers side with out traction bars now with traction bars it sways to the left. The snubbers are the same and are just behind the eye of the leaf. Could use a little help please.

open up the gap on the right side to stop the pull to the left, see Lakewood instructions.
