Hey I just wanted to see if there is a person with a silver 01-02 in the Paramus Nj area. I was on my way home from work (5:15-5:30am) He was in front of me and nailed it I didn't play at first truck was ice cold 17 deg this morning, but then I siad this guy will think I am a wuss so I caught up at the next light wich was red and off we went.
I smoked the tires bad even hit the rev limiter(still worked even with bypass disconnected) we had had some fun then he turned off and flashed me the highbeams it was fun it woke me up after a night shift.
Well if you are on this board wassup it was me in the black L
(I WHINE) Nj tag had fun and your truck got a nice 1-2 chirp from the first light you took off from

Slick, the boost bypass disconnect will not suppress
the rev limiter ... Did you manually shift in 2nd or something?
Hitting the limiter is not a good thing ...

 

no I did not manually shift , I did smokem preety bad though when it shifted into 2nd it broke up a little maybe it was the torque reduction I noticed now that I am thinking about it. I dont know what it was but am now sure it was the torque reduction forgot about that on these but I will say they are animals when it is cold out and traction is no existant

if you smoke first gear really quick itll hit the limiter before it has time to shift.......at least mine will.
