Sounds like a big pain to me.....

 

Firesvt, Surely no one actually does that anymore with the options available today. As for as theft, a theif will not know what means was used to bypass the pats during start, and if they want your truck they will take it on a rollback.



69 takes me about 40 mins to do a valet start, keyless and adding the pats integration module. Really not hard at all.

I finished everything up today and got the remote start to work. I did need that other key too. That part was pretty easy, but when it came to hooking up the transponder it was a pain in the *** to find a spot so it would work. But I got everything all setup and it works great, I am pretty stoked with the outcome. I went to a billiards equipment store to purchase a new que stick, and when I left I remote started the truck by a few people that were looking at it, and they were shocked to see a car start by itself. It was a good laugh.
