question about traction bars...

have any of you heard of Lakewood traction bars?? If so, what have you heard about them, are they any good for my 99L? The reason I ask is becasue they are so much cheaper than any other traction bars I have looked up.

Thanks in advance for your response

The members who have used them love them, just make sure you get the ones designed for trucks specifically. I think they run about $100 from places like Summit or Jegs. Hopefully someone who has them on can chime in, the hardest part is probably setting up the snubber to perfection.

i think the main problem is the grade of bolts, replace them with grade 8's...other than that theyre fine i believe. the bolts are the weak point, after all you dont want those suckers comin off underneath the truck and then the truck pogosticking over them and tearing out your rearend at the same time...that would be pretty embarrassing

I just got these PSP Traction Bars, one of our brothers just sold his Lightning and took them off before the sale. As much as I didn't want to pay so much for bars, (I paid $200.00) The quaility is awesome, heavy heavy duty, he ran them hard, and they're perfect, and as straight as an arrow. Once you see them, you'll understand why they cost what they do "AND IT'S WORTH IT".

I paid $500.00 for the slicks, rims, and PSP bars. Rims should look hot on my Black Beauty
