What Drop For the High Flying 03
Now that we are seeing some pics, it looks like the 03 is a bit higher than the 99-02.
My question is, what drop does everyone feel it will take to get that trucks *** out of the flight path of jumbo jets?

Good question, I have been wondering the same thing.
Had decided against the Roush because it is a little too low for me and also I can't afford to cut my paylod capacity in half (even more than in half on an '03).
Had pretty much decided to go with the Hotchkis springs (like on my '01) but with QA1s this time, but I'm still not sure.
What are these SLIDERS or FRAME SLIDERS that I hear a few people talking about???
How do they work/what do they do exactly and where do you get them? RUSLOW seems to come to mind but might be somebody else?
later,
chris

Superfords,
The sliders Ruslow offers and they replace the stock shackle. So whatever the length of the shackle will be your drop. They allow the leaf spring to be compressed and still grow axially.
Hotchkis leafs with a drop shackle is another option. I guess the longer the shackle though the more play in the rear end. Also the lower you go the less you could carry.
Ever consider the Sport Truck Direct kit. Shackles, hangers, and a C-notch the rear and you'll probably maintain the carrying capacity along with the stock ride.

Does anyone care to make a drop recommendation?
Maybe one for those that simply want a leveled ride and maybe one for those concerned with payload?
Thanks for any help,
