At this point I'd be willing to bet his buddies will know better after seeing their friend. Either way all of these trucks have a locking tailgate, use it. As for the smell have youtried to waxing the bed? also what kind of cover do you have?

been there an done all that stuff i went through much of the same stuff and been through many of fights, being a competition kick boxer helps (kickboxed tai for a long time) but the justice system tends to frown upon a registered fighter beating several people senseless, lucky the issue was resolved and like braboin said, lots of them became my closest friends...when your young have fun, get into some trouble (its the only way youll learn certain things sometimes) but in the end too much trouble is noooo good you dont want to be sittin in a cell (it sucks, been there done that).

you have now gotten even with the guy, and good for you cuz he woulda done it again if you didnt stand up for yourself, but let it go cuz you dont want to let it turn into an all out war!! (once again, been there done that!!)

i would definitly beat the livin **** outa someone for f'in with my truck, so good for you!!!

Dude, 2 things.

1. It's not smart to be blabbing things on the internet that could get you introuble.

2. Sounds a little like your letting your emotions (anger) cloud your better judgement, which may get you in some serious trouble later on. I'd suggest you take a step back, think things through, prepare for any situation that could happen, then harrass them till you get bored.

I'd bet that the milk got under the stock bedliner and also I believe the stock tonneau has a fabric coating on the bottom that could absorb the odor. I don't know how you could get the milk out from under the bedliner also plastic is pourous and therefore probably had some of the milk baked into it by the wonderful Florida sun. I really don't know what to tell you other than get a new liner and tonneau. Have you asked around at some of the aftermarket places that sell bedliners and tonneau covers? They may have a suggestion that may help. If not they could certaintly price you out new equiptment so you know how much you need to beat out of him. That is if you don't just make him pay for it.

If I were you i'd watch out big time, not that it will happen,,, but think about the consequences of your actions, and I dont mean the law,,,,,, What I am talking about here is everyone owns a set of keys, and keys are quite good at scratching up nice shiney L paint jobs. You are the one who has a nice truck to get vandalized there, his face will heal, your truck will not heal without $$

Seriously,, beat his *** and mess with the kid, but I wouldn't take it to much farther, you'd probably be suprised to see what else these kids could or would do to your truck given the chance.

You might try going to a detail shop. There are products available that can neutralize most any odor. If it can neutralize cat spray, then it should be able to take care of sour milk.

Hey Bud...I'm 25 now. I would agree with most of the older people in..."let the law handle it" When I was you age, I would have done the same thing. BUT...After beating the kid, you should have talked to him and made sure he and you know its over. DONE. Because if he is anything like the punks around here, he now figures its his turn to strike again.

As for the stink FABREEZE. You can get it at the super market, works pretty good.

I can understand how pissed you can get when someone messes wiht your truck--all through high school people were messing wiht my 98 and wow it pissed me off when kids would do something to your truck that you worked so dam long and hard to own. I had an incident where the "little rich kid that drives a new lexus" in school swiped the bed of my truck with a paintbrush that had green paint on it. I saw it happen-we were working on the homecoming float and he was painting someting green and decided that a light green would look good on my bed! I hopped in the truck and drove 60mph thru town to the car wash, hosed it off and wiped it with a rag and it was gone (thanks to lots of coats of wax). Needless to say i climbed up on his '01 Lexus ("accidently" scraping the zipper on my coveralls all the way up his door and on his roof),stood on his sunroof and pissed alllll over that car. All the guys watchin thought it was great since his daddy had just paid 200 bucks for a complete detail cause theyre to fuggin lazy to clean it theirselves. I then proceeded to go in the shed where everyone was and rip his 85 dollar Tommy shirt from the collar to sleeve. It was great. He never messed with green after that!

I would not reccomend any more physical contact in your situation, but if you must, do it before youre 18! Youve made your point wiht the one guy, so just swallow your anger for the other 2 and let it go. What goes around comes around and you dont want any more coming around, like keying or something worse.
Sorry to sound like your dad cause im only 19 but i would drop it from here - but if they do it again, go to the law.
Peace

Mike,

If you need to replace your bedliner, do it with a BedRug. They ARE nice! And, just so happens I have a dozen in stock.
