Bad experience with RPMoutlet

I just received the autometer steering column pod and autometer boost gauge I ordered from RPMoutlet. *sigh*.

1. Pod is completely wrong. Looks like it is for a manual trans truck with the pod on the right side where the auto-shifter goes.

2. Gauge is wrong model.

I call them up to work out this problem. Paraphrasing here "That's the pod off the superduty. We have been out of the regular F150 pod, so we sent you that one instead. You should be able to make it work"

"We sent you the AUT3303 vs the AUT3301 you ordered. It is a better gauge - it can read 30lbs vs 20lbs".. If I wanted the 3303 I would have ordered it!

Their solution: I send back parts at MY cost and they will send me the other gauge. They will not cross ship or pay return shipping fees. He said "just throw a stamp on it". Sure, it gets lost in USPS and I end up not receiving a refund.

I guess that is just the way it goes. I ordered a part from a tuner earlier this year and didn't get what I ordered. I was stuck with a $615 bill though...welcome to the club

My mouth is sealed, but you could do a search on my old posts. In a couple of months I may report something. If I keep pushing now I may get banned.

AIM sent me Counterfeit Street Scene Mirrors that don't have the correct Wires and can't be used and told me to stick it when I asked for a refund.

mod squad here, um you were not supposed to use *** **** in your post. For the record. I did not say anything about *** or *** ****.

Most all of my mods are BS mods anyway. I needed to add a new blower to that list, but my wife insited on a new vehicle.

rpm outlet charged my card twice $400 for the same item a few min. apart almost didn't catch it either, took a month to get it corrected, then i thought that was a one time screw up i ordered a 6 pound pulley 2 day air, used paypal so i could control the amount i sent him , he says there out but will have some in 5 days ,ok i'll wait when they come in send them 2 day, paypal 'd him. 2 days later i have an 8 pound pulley at my doorstep,WTF if i wanted an 8 pound i would have ordered one , same thing "thought this would work better", ended up selling for 5$ bucks more than i payed for it on ebay.

From RPM Outlet: "The MAC Cold-Air System replaces the entire OEM air-box. Less restriction provides a solid 14.4 Rear Wheel HP horsepower improvement compared to a stocker!"

If you read this and then trust them, . . .

They didn't when I bought mine. They were advertisied as Street Scene Mirrors.

Maybe Street Scene had a word with them. I did talk to Street Scene.
