Exclamation Um bad!

The e-bay seller seems to know where the truck really is!!

Do not pass go, do not collect $200, run, do not walk and call the police.

Your Lightning is about to be stolen from it's garage.

Is your Insurance paid up?

If it is like Coldie said now would be a good time to phone the Insurance Company and put every coverage under the sun on it.
Get the Heat (police) involved and make sure this person spends Christmas in Jail.

whew... I guess I read things wrong. Then they're just a scammer and should simply be caught and beaten.

Speedjunky,

Is that also your vin number on the ebay site? or is it different ? It seems that from the info that you posted from the vin number, that it's different from your truck and they used pictures of yours (which is pretty crappy to do that). There is definitely something fishy on this whole ebay transaction as the person seems pretty flakey with fastasl. If I were fastasl, I would act like I was within driving distance and would want to drive up their this weekend and make the transaction. If they agree to meet, then definitely get the police involved and have them meet them. Maybe somebody from that area that belongs to this forum can act as fastasl and meet with them and see if this is legit. I wouldn't let this thing slide and hopefully this crook can be flushed out.

Well Chris...when the payment is verifyed by the escrow service I will fly home and we will meet to finnalize the deal. Also the car is in New York city area and it is in a rented garaje.

Please let me know if we can go forward with the deal.
Shoot, go ahead and agree to the escrow service and give them(the escrow company) a heads up. I'm sure if this guy gets caught, that's just another charge that they could bring him up on.

But, Marc, you're assuming that it's a legit Escrow company. This person is making ALOT of money. They require 50% down before you can pick up the vehicle - in this particular instance, that's $10k. You think they wouldn't setup a fake Escrow website?

Ebay scammers arrested-

They just had a story on the news here in Dallas about some folks that got big jail time for scamming people on Ebay.

Man, I don't care what you do, somebody is going to find a way to pervert it, and try to make money off of it.
