Question Anyone seen or taken pictures of an '03 King Ranch in Oxford White yet?

Hey Fellow F150 Truck Enthusiasts,

Anyone seen or taken pictures of a production F150 with the King Ranch package decked out in white yet? I sure would love to see one as I love the looks of the Oxford White with the Arizona Beige together. Also, the ease of maintenance on white makes for less often needing to wash it, even though I like washing mine, I usually don't do it as often as I should.

Lets see some pictures if anyone has snapped shots of one of these beauties at a local dealership yet.

Thanks,

~DM~

I see about 25-30 of these every night. I must admit the white King Ranch looks good in a Supercab.

A nice addition to the line-up for 2003. You get two-tone paint, matching bed rail caps, matching step pads on the flareside bed.

A good choice in my opinion.

Is Arizona Beige the only two-tone color for Oxford White? Hope so.

I see he finally traded his old one in. He had been talking about it over there for awhile. Nice. The first white one I've seen. Looks very much like the Lariats.

Yeah, IMHO it looks too much like a Lariat. I don't know if I'm as in love with it as I thought I'd be. Real nice truck but, I'll stick with Chestnut.

For the King Ranch, arizona beige is the only two tone color available. However, the Lariat has the same two tone options it has for several years.

Thumbs down Me no likey....

Now, I like white, hell I own one, but I think for the KR line, the classy Burgundies, Forest Green and such are the only way to go when complementing a fine leather interior like that... Just my O-pin...

I like it, but it lacks that distinction... For those that think I am crazy because I own a white truck, if I didn't live in the heat of S. Texas, I would have a leather SCrew Lariat or most likely the KR... Just too hot down here for dark colored paint and leather... Up north, you betcha! LOL

Yeah, personally, I was excited about the white and, now that I've laid eyes on it, I'm kind of let down.

We all had first heard that it might be a pearl white (similar to the cadillacs or explorer limited (1998)) but, it's plain oxford white.

I tend to agree with your opinion Reel of the darker colors accenting and complementing the leather a tad more than the light color and, I mean, let's face it, the King Ranch edition is all about the leather.

I am still anxious to see the black one. Anyone seen one of those yet?

Guys,

I too was not impressed with the white KR and actually I didn't like it at all. Don't get me wrong, I like white trucks, the best F150 I ever owned was my '00 Lariat Super Cab 4x4 that I drove for two years and it was Oxford and Arizona Beige. The only time I was at the dealer with that truck was the day I drove it off the lot and the day I traded it in on the '01 King Ranch in Sept. of 2001.

I'm like Rock, I'll stick with my Chestnut, it's the best color for me. Something I could probably go with if Ford would do it for me is a bright red one with the high cut line Arizona Beige trim, in a KR of course.

Rock, thanks for the link dude.

OK, guys, I am now here seeing that the other site does not have a KR forum! Yes I am probably one of the first to own the new KR in white. I have wanted a KR for a while. Even added KR stuff to my first Supercrew to make it all Arizona Beige. But, when I saw it I had to have it. I like the two tone white over Arizona Beige. A friend of mine has a F350 Lariot in the same color combo and I always liked it. I know it is not as original as your KR's in the three colors, but there is a difference in the KR white over arizona beige than the Lariot. The bottom arizona beige is painted higher up on the truck. Any way, I like it and thought about the other color of Chesnut they had before signing the papers, but just liked the white. Yhe other new color is black over arizona beige and I drove it a day and said not in this Texas heat. I will add my pics soon. But, I guess you all saw the pics from an earlier post. Glad to be over here!

Damon,

Welcome to the KR forum and F150Online. I hope you enjoy your new truck as we all do and also look forward to seeing those pics.

Do you have a 4x4 or a 4x2?

White King Ranch

I have to agree with previous posts. I attended the Harley Davidson/Ford Open Road Tour today at the Texas Motor Speedway and they had one KR on display. The White makes the truck look too much like a Lariat. The unique colors in previous years look much more distinct on the truck.

I also noticed the changes that were made to the seat back map holders. I definately like the look of the flap and magnetic hook on the previous model. Sure it required more leather but I think it looks a little better. I also like my running boards over the new tubular step rails. Just my two cents.

One of the trucks that was available for test drive was the HD Super Crew. I really wanted to take it for a spin to see how much performance is gained by the supercharger. I got stuck in a Mustang GT behind the HD Supercrew and he left me in dust.

Hey Dbubba,

Long time no talk to, glad to see you're still with us. What else have you been doing since I don't think you've been posting for almost a year or almost that long?

Keep in touch man.
