How about 275 miles per day, for 20 days out of a month, for 26 months, plus a few grocery runs...Must be a traveling salesman or lives approx 140 miles from work, or something similar.

Damn, that thing has been around a block a couple of times.

Wonder how it's holding up...

We live 70 miles southeast of San Antonio, and 75 Miles north of the Corpus Christi coast, we travle to both quite often, so the the truck gets a MINIMUM of 200 miles a day put on it. We have taken 8 trips to Chicago since we got the truck as well..... I looked tonight..... 147,566 was the exact reading.

I asked my dad about what all had been done and this is the list he game me:

Spark plugs changed at: 104,000
Tires replaced at: 72,000 and 135,000
oil changed every 6,000 miles (semi-synthetic )
Alternator replaced at: 115,000
Brake pads (this was a shocker) werent replaced until 94,000 miles!

The leather looks very nice, some minor wearing on the driver side, but not ANYTHING even remotley close to his other truck witch was a 1999 Lariat, the seat wore out and tore on the driver's side after 80,000 miles. the truck is a 4x4 supercrew 5.4, and it still runs like a champ!!!!

Gas mileage:
Highest ever: 21.93 (one of the trips to chicago)
Lowest ever: 8.45 (playing on the beach in corpus, used 4x4 throughout the whole tank)
Average: 18.3

Anything else yall want to know just ask!

Thanks,
Wesley

22 MPG?!? DAMN! That's unheard of...

Thanks for the info Wes. It's good to know that a truck that is seeing that much wear is holding up extremely well.

Yes, 21.93 is darn good....

We did that on a trip to Chicago, I made a bet with my dad that I would pay for ALL of the gas on that trip if it would get over 20 MPG, so he set the cruise onn 60 mph THE WHOLE WAY!!! And low and-behold it got 21.93 on one tank (light tailwind helped out though) and 20.87 on another tank on that trip! This truck has only a drop-in K&N filter and NO OTHER MODS at all! BONE STOCK!
