Kind of SLOW Lately... ROLL CALL!

Things have really been slow around here lately. Everyone still out there?

ROLL CALL!

I know I've been really busy with work lately. I'm still traveling a bunch with work but, I'm on vacation this week and really loving not having to do a thing. My wife and I are heading to the mountains on Thursday so, that will be a very welcome and very nice getaway.

Everyone check in and let us know that you're still alive and kicking!

Sitting here at a hotel in Maggie Valley.

I could think of worse places to go for work.

I read the boards just abotu everyday...I just don't really fit in around here so I don't post very often. I just happen to own the same truck as the rest of you that's it.

Alive here as well. Just have been real busy. But I was finally able to take a breather and washed my truck. Also trying to work a bit on my sister's Sportster 883. She wants to sell it. It's been sitting a while so I figured I should at least change the oil. If anyone wants a nice reasonably priced Sportster, let me know.

Glad to see most everyone is alive and kicking. I've seen dufunnel lurking here and there so, rest assured he's with us too.

Lent is in Texas thus, I'd say he's popping in very infrequently. Not sure what's happened to skagel. Maybe Tomas had a stroke.

You all take it easy. I'm going to be out of pocket for a few days so, I'll catch up with everyone in a few days after a much needed vacation to the mountains.

No he's not.......

Just had to return to the UK because wife's father seriously ill.
Dreadful journey with the long drive up through the King Ranch collecting more bugs than you'd ever believe (Will try a photo here), then flight out of Houston amidst thunderstorms to Philly, just made our overnight connection to Manchester (No sleep at all....bawling kid!)....then thought we had done well to arrive 7am which was an hour early.
Got picked up by our shuttle service and ground to a halt on the M6 motorway just south of Manchester for 5 hours due to a really major fatal accident.
Now I have to get in a car and drive to the other end of the country to visit hospital (A Place I hate going to !)

Such is life.....at least the extra miles got us Silver Preferred Status on US Airways !

(OH yes....and it was my birthday !)
