Talking It's a wonderful life

I am just tired of seeing I Hate Life and Death to all birds as the post with any activity. Let's try something new ... be happy.

I just got back from taking my 6 year old son and one of his friends to play baseball over at the park. It was just us there playing ball for two hours. After they batted for a while we started working on fielding. I was out running bases teaching them how to stop the runner. We worked on infield and outfield. It was a great time and they had a blast.

I come home, log into a customers network on one computer and kick off some processes. Log onto f150online with another computer and your guys subject lines just bring me down.

Screwfun,

I couldn't agree more...I decided I was not posting to that thread ever again for two reasons. One becasue the thread title and the other because of comments made about me and how I shouldn't even own a truck because I don't have a brush guard and I should own a YUGO, how obsurd.

Glad to hear something positive as well...Great Idea and if you weren't going to create this thread, I was going to do something similar.

I had a great weekend on Saturday and Sunday...I'm building a privacy fence that's 550 feet long and now I've only got about 60 feet to go after working on it for over three months now...Wow, that's almost 90% complete. I think I'm going to have a party once I get the last section up. I hope to be finished no later than the end of September...Oh no, that's next weekend!

Sorry to disappoint there ScrewFun. It was a very dormant topic however, with what I witnessed a few moons ago, I thought it worthy to bring it to the top again.

A certain few have taken it, contorted it, tied it like a pretzel, and dusted it with the fairy dust that they call their opinions.

I must concur that a few of the opinions sprinkled above and beyond the topic have been nothing short of boring and uneventful however, one must remember that we're not dealing with one of our own. Oh no.... not one of our own.

It is a wonderful life!! As of Monday, my life at work just got 1/3rd easier, my first child is half constructed and everything looks fine with him as of the last ultrasound.
The last couple of threads sure aren't our usual light-hearted banter, I certainly took the bait on the 'merican thing.
Daveman, just for the record, I don't think that you should get a Yugo. It's the only car ever to go off the Mackinac Bridge, it got blown off in a windstorm. I think RockPick would look good in one though!!

Bronco,

For the YUGO, man I don't know if Rock would be very comfortable in that car without KR seats and steering wheel and of course a wooden dash cover and a 36" subwoofer. He'd go crazy if he didn't have something to polish on a daily basis...where's that infamous straight jacket located?

Rock,

Just what in the world were you rambling on about man, you eating my KKs again?

BTW, I had two after my supper tonight, one chocolate covered glazed and one jelly filled...Mmmmmm, KKs got to love'em.

Later,
~DM~

RP,

That was most likely a Peregrine falcon. Talk about beautiful and graceful animals. What fits them into this wonderful life thread is you see quite a few living in major urban areas like NYC (lotsa pigeons and high nesting spots). It's amazing how nature can adapt to us.

You're right, that thread degenerated real quick...

Now on to the Yugo idea... there was that set of salvaged KR captains chairs on Ebay, hmmm wonder if a Lightning motor would fit?

Rock,

I've got three KKs still left in the box, they're gettin' stale, you want me to send you one or two FedX? As far as them banning me from KKs, they'll sell to anyone man, even you as long as you don't try to pass slots for quarters

No need. I'm in South Bend, Indiana until Friday morning. They'll be crunchy by then. Thanks for the offer...
