hey all again...I am looking into mounting my GPS (Really HP PALM PC) somwhere within the cab of the kr....

Were did you all mount yours without the expy console?

I did see the pic....I was trying to see if there were anyone else.. perhaps somone with a pda mounted on their vent...I think it would look funny....but wanted to see

i have this "thingy"...I believe that is the technical name for it.....that I bought at Target to it is magnetic///i have a metal bracket on the back of my gps screen for mounting....the computer part of the gps is mounted now under the passenger seat....but I have this magnetic "thingy" going into one of my lighter outlets.....it works great......used to have it mounted in the vent, but it just got in the way there......I will post a pic on friday......hmmm.....first I need to take a pic....

Try the folks at Pro-Fit. I have used their VSMs in a dozen vehicles for Cell phones, pdas, and gps units... they are great!
