Chestnut?
Yeah, a lot of the stuff on Ford's website doesn't look like the actual color. I think it's because all the colors are "painted" on by computer. If you look at the brochure colors they are a closer match to the pictures on the website.
Very good point vipergrendal. Computer generated never matches up very well with the 'real thing'.
Honestly, I kind of like that color that is shown. It's more of a burnt orange color and is pretty unique.
Oh well...
It was a slow day on the boards so I thought I'd crank a new topic out.

I seriously like that color... it reminds me of an explorer color that they put out in 98 or 99... that explorer color was a tad too 'orange' though...
That color is more along a rust or burnt orange and really looks good with the arizona beige accent. Just my opinion but, I really really really like it.

You saw that color? I don't think that color exists unless someone had a truck painted that color. I've seen a similar color on exploders and rangers but never on a full-size.
The color shown above is what Ford's website calls 'Chestnut Brown'; and, as you can see, we have a bunch of Chestnut Brown trucks here on display and none of them are actually that color...
I still like the color shown though. Very different yet eye appealing.
