Talking I have been to Heaven

Ok guys, I know you all have been waiting for me to post regarding my trip to the Kentucky truck plant.....I am sorry, but my camera was left in my truck and I drove...the other car.....to work today.....thus I have no pictures to show you yet.....that being said.

This weekend I was given a gift that no amount of money could ever buy and was honestly the best gift that anyone has "EVER " given to me. I got to visit the Kentucky truck plant. I walked around the parking lot, took pictures of Tomas with another charcoal blue KR, walked in the lobby, shook hands with various employees.....who probably think I am completely out of my mind....and got to see things that "normal" people do not see...I got to touch and sit in things that absolutely was crossing lines of legality. I also met someone this weekend and shaking his hand just made me shudder and literally brought tears to my eyes out of the shear excitement of meeting him.

That is all I am really aloud to say about that portion of the trip, but if you want to know more just email me and I will fill ya in.

Sara,

It sounds more like a life changing experience than a plant tour, I'd love to hear more.

yes you could deffinately call it a Life changing event....I am still amazed at what I did this weekend...it still seems unreal to me....like a dream that I haven't woken up from and I keep pinching myself, but I am not waking up....it really happened.

Every time I go there or any other assembly plant all that happens is the plant manager or his boss tells me the parts I ship are crap and I get screamed at for a few hours when I should be home eating dinner.

Sometimes they call me oput there to look at some problem and when i get there they can't find or remember what they wanted to have me look at....it's nice though compared to all the screaming.

Sometimes I cry too.

Apparently they treat tourists different than suppliers.

I think I need to find the nearest bridge and plummit to my death...

I see how much our meeting meant to you....

*cries uncontrollably*

You just wanted to see a Chestnut KR up close and wish that Tomas was that color... *evil grin*

I still haven't managed to get that scratch out of my door.

Did you even see the pictures that I posted? See what I mean, I didn't mean anything... *cries again*

LOL

Rock - I looked through your pics and did not see the scratch you are speaking of...do you have a pic...

Friend works for local BMW plant as paint expert and does this kind of thing for a living to the bmw's that the employees drive...

I feel terrible about that little scratch in your door....I know it wasn't my fault, but still....I hope for the trucks sake you get it out.

I haven't posted a pic of it. I just got it Saturday.

I plan on wet sanding that spot out and polishing the crap out of it to see if I can get it out. It's very small but, I know it's there. You all, I know, can relate.

I'll keep you posted...

You're right skagel, it wasn't your fault. I saw that damn marker when I was backing my truck into that small spot. My main concern was my wife opening her door and not hitting your truck thus, I didn't pay attention to that damn sign. So, thinking of it in this light. It is your fault. If you hadn't have parked Tomas so far up, I could've backed into that spot and not scratched my door for the lack of room. It is your fault! YOU'LL BE HEARING FROM MY ATTORNEY!! LMAO!!

Nah, I'll get it out. I'm not too worried about it. To make it a tad easier, it's at the very bottom of my door and nearly out of sight. I'll get it out. I've taken care of several knicks and such on several different paint jobs thus, I have a pretty good grasp on what needs to be done.
