Lenticular,
What, are you the official spell checker of the web site?
I have seen misspelled words and typos quite often on this and other message boards. But, thanks for noticing. I made the edit on my post.
By the way, I had a double major, Business and Attendance!

Well...actually, in actual fact., as a matter of fact, well er....Yes !!
Ask Skagel !!
I do ignore a lot of poor grammar and spelling since this is not an academic forum.
I suppose it is my background as a lecturer and writer that it is almost automatic to correct mistakes as I go along.
We all make spelling and grammatical errors but sometimes it is just so obvious that no effort whatsoever has been made to read through something.
I think it is a common courtesy to those who will read the post to make it as clear and easily read as possible.
Most times it doesn't really matter but when mis-spelling in the context of the words COLEGE and AMLA MATA...it was funny as much as anything.

Rock,
Sorry, I only had the energy to do line 2...besides, it feels the best...You know, I forgot all about chocolate covered cake donuts, they used to be my favorite, until I married by present wife of which yesterday was my 5th Anniversary...
Lenny,
Since we're on the topic of misspellings...what about this most commonly misspelled word:
Doughnut
Dougnut
Donut
Do not eat too many or one could become known as the Doughboy...
Doughnut: 1) A small usually ring shaped cake or sweetened dough deep fried in fat. 2) Anything shaped like a thick ring; an annular object; toroid. Eat your heart out Rock...
For the record:
alma mater: a school, college or university at which a person has studied and, usually, from which he has been graduated.
Keywords here are:
has studied
usually
has been graduated.
FYI, for those of you that have inquiring minds...If I suspect I've got something misspelled, I cut the entire text from a post and paste it into Microsoft Word and edit it there, then once I think it's correct, I paste it back into the forum text entry box.
