I want to know why it is that during the week when y'all should be working, the posts and replies are coming thick and fast.....
Then at weekends when there's time to spend with the confuser there are hardly any posts at all.

Couldn't be something to do with using the firms time and internet connections could it. !?

My sentiments exactly...I can only access the site when I'm at home. Two many eyes are watching when I'm at work so I don't take chances.

There was a time when I didn't have internet access at work and almost everyone in the company had it at one time but then too many folks abused the privilege and ZAP, it was taken away.

I recently regained access as I'm a Supervisor for several other Engineers and everyone uses my terminal to do internet searches since only a few folks are trusted, what a PIA.

We've been slammed at work lately. I've honestly been using the site as a quick 'getaway' from the daily grind. Okay, so I've been using it more often.... sue me.

I actually do things on the weekend, whereas while at work I just persue these boards all day to see what is interesting. The weekends are for washing my truck and doing modifications.

 

It's interesting that the record on this site for concurrent users was July 30th, which was a Tuesday at 5:46 pm EST. which would be 4:46 Central, 3:46 Mountain and 2:46 Pacific.

That's 372 people that should have been working.

I don't recall whether the site had been down that day but, that is usually when records are set. People come and go when convenient but, when the site is down for some time and they can't get their 'fix', usage is high.

If this site was down for an extended time, like a week or something, the suicide rate would jump up.

I have broadband too, cable that is...I usually still close the F150 site out after I'm done for good measure.

The one who has his computer on 24-7 directly connected to the site is Rock Pick. I think Rock has a terminal in the shower and has a satellite uplink in his KR so he can post while driving or waiting in traffic. Also, I suspect his mouse and keyboard are clogged with crumbs from Krispy Kreme donuts and that prevents him from being able to shut down the site...Mmmmm, Krispy Kreme chocolate covered glazed, my favorite...

Rock, If you find this, I'm just messing with you man, I know you can take it. If you retaliate, I wouldn't blame you...Just having fun, that's all...

hehehe I just got myself a new cell phone.....well, actually it is more like a handheld computer/cell phone. has a 207 MHz Intel StrongARM whatever that is, but I can log on using it and post super easy whereever I am.

As for cell phones, I use Nextel and I'm looking at the i90c which is the smallest full funtion phone that Motorola has to offer. It's around $249 and yes, it can access the internet too but I sure as hell can't and won't post onto this site with it, never...
