Front Armrest Wear
Anyone show signs of excessive armrest wear for the front armrest? I have about 15k on it and am showing wear on the passenger side, funny thing is...it's only about 25-30% of the time that there is someone in the passenger seat. My wife has had plenty of experience with saddle leather and says that it looks defective. Would this be something I could expect Ford to replace under warranty or am I going to rplacing this out of pocket?

Nope Sarah that isn't it since I"m not married. No I drive little over 40miles to work each day. So not counting anything else I put 80 miles on in a day. Sometimes have to use it for work driving to different facilities. That is why I have over 35,500 on my truck.

You had me scared there... I thought you all had armrests (like real captains' chairs). I was about to through a hissy fit. LOL!
It's definately a long shot but I'd go for it. Here's what I'd do first though...
Condition ALL THE LEATHER with the F150 stuff and show up with the bottle (by now, half empty) to proove that you are conditioning with their stuff.
Explain the minimal use of the passenger's seat and how little you have passengers.
Do a little dance... make a little love... get down tonight...
Go straight to the horse. Don't talk to one of the asses in service. Go to the service manager. Explain your passion for the truck and your severe disappointment with the durability... especially when you've taken care of it just like Ford recommended.
GET DOWN, GET DOWN, GET DOWN, GET DOWN, GET DOWN TONIGHT.
PRAY - Hey, let's face it. It's never hurt anyone or anything.
Show off the rest of your truck and how little the leather has worn.
Hrrm, that's about all I can think of. Make sure you get down and do a little dance though. Those steps are ULTRA SUPER DUPPER IMPORTANT!
Good luck. Keep us posted.
