Kinda what I had pictured in my head... not bad...

I wanna see a pic of them on the truck. I'm still not sure what the brown will look like on the exterior flooded with charcola blue in the background. Just can't picture it in my head. You know us men... we're visual types.

I want the Vette in the pic in the background!! What is that? A 64? GRROWL!

Actually I think it is a 65. It was my fathers pride and joy....then I came along and he had to sell it.....yes I get grief from my older brother for that to this very day......I had planned on buying him one, to replace it for a retirement gift, but............anyways don't want to get everyone all depressed....that and it is hot in my office and I don't want to have to close the door because I am crying.

Whenever my darling b/f mounts my lights on my new brush guard I will post a pic.

Actually Lenny that is what I originally called it. It was my b/f who corrected me and called it a Bonnet. So I figured he is a guy he must know the true name of the darn thing.

Oh and I know it is hard to see, but I used the Charcoal Blue touch-up paint to do the running "W"

great looking light covers sis, who put that together, is it vinyl??. the vette is a 63 stingray roadster 327 340 hp carburated engine. sold in 1974 for top dollar, 2 thousand dollars, as it was in mint condition.

I said NO SUCH THING!!! I wouldn't use such a pansy-a$$ term for a light cover! Car guys don't use words like bonnett unless it's going on a buffing wheel! At least I didn't refer to it as a light-thingy-for-the-guard-thingy-on-my-truck!

I'm glad my significant other doesn't peruse this board too. I think a lot of us would be in trouble if they knew what we wrote about them or what they supposedly said.

i thought she was learning the king's english when she said bonnet, i.e. the hood, not a light cover. never the less, pretty sweet light cover!
