Super Duty Kr Confirmed

Louisville is the home of the Kentucky Truck Plant--makers of Super Duty and Excursion. I have a couple of contacts that work at the plant...

Here's what one of them has to say about my question about if Ford is going to make a KR SUPER DUTY:

Yes they are giong to start producing a King Ranch
Edition of the Super Duty Truck. I do not know if it is
going to be available early or late into the year. I
have seen a cab run through the trim shop but did not
get to see it built. The King Ranch Edition looks like
the F150 Edition.

I don't think that Ford has officially announced that they are going to produce this truck but, this reporter has managed to get some insider information.

From Louisville, this is ROCKPICK reporting...

Yeah, my dad has an 01 F350 with the Powerstroke. It doesn't have the get-up-and-go that the F150 with the 5.4 does, but it pulls like crazy. Last fall I was up there helping him hual some wood with it, had the back wheels off the ground and front still digging. The engine didnt even sputter.

One thing that would be kinda wierd in that truck though, the cushy leather in a rig that will beat the livin tar outa ya on a rough road. Hmmmm

F-350 Harley Davidson

I saw a video the other day where these guys had a Harley Davidson F-350 Dualie, black, sitting on 24 inch rims.

It was lowered, with the chrome billet grill and clear lens on the back.

I looked all over the internet for that truck, couldn't find it, so maybe it's a one-off. But a nice looking, produceable looking truck, it was....

I'll take mine in black please.....

Yeah, I've been hearing rumors flying around from my Kentucky Truck Plant buddies. They're apparently working on the final touches for the 03 unvailing of the King Ranch Edition and the Harley Edition.

I figured FORD would see that the HD and the KR were KICKING A$$ and taking names and would hop on the bandwagon to up the profit margin. There's no telling what one of them is going to cost - It'll be out of my league but, definately a sweet ride.

a dually w/ 24" rims, hmm, rides like a skatebaord, gets stuck everywhere it goes and is compleatly unable to haul a load, yea, that was probably a good idea for a truck, come on, if your going to own a dually at least do't take its only purpose in life away by de-balling the thing w/ 24" rims. duallys are made for hauling and a kranch or harley edition dually is made for hauling in style.

You can put a picture in your gallery, then when you view the picture copy the address bar in your browser. Then, paste that address using the " http:// " button when you post. Basic explanation, hope it helps.
