Question question for owners

because I know the Lightning/Harley guys hate it when other truck owners mod there trucks using lightning/Harley specific parts I wanted to ask you guys a question.

Do you think it would be alright with everyone if I take my airdam and put it on my moms '02 scab Lariat FX4? (I am replacing mine because of a little incodent) I just don't want my mom getting any crap for having a KR specific airdam on her non-KR truck. her truck is white with the arizona beige 2-tone and she currently has the black airdam which personally looks ridiculous with the beige 2-tone. She mentioned that she wanted to replace her airdam with a beige one like the ones on our trucks. Is everyone OK w/me doing this? Don't worry I won't be badging her FX4 with KR badges. but I will also be replacing the rear bumper cover, which is currently black, with the beige one off the scab KR.

I'm not sure how to answer this one tactfully...

I guess I'll start with; no, I certainly won't mind. I'm sporting L heads and corners and I really like the look of them over stock.

Secondly, not to sound snobbish or anything but, I don't care what others think about me having L heads and corners. I like them and (and my wife likes them) that's what matters. JMO but, do it and let your mom enjoy it! Life's too short to worry about what others think about your truck! *cough* badge it with *cough* KR badges *cough cough* and sleep *cough* with the fishes *cough cough*.

Hehehe, I think you're worse off than I am when it comes to being addicted and obcessed.

Unhappy

Just a note of personal experience here.

A 'XL' was all I could afford at one time and I didn't think anyone would take offense when I added a 'T' to it.

Well, lo and behold, a bunch of XLT owners noticed that the 'T' in my XLT wasn't chrome but, was actually black magic marker.

They chased me down and beat the crap out of me.

word to yer *****

I had a similar thing happen to me when I put CORVETTE EMBLEMS on my former 1990 Geo Prizm. It wasn't a pretty sight.

The emotional wounds are deep. Very deep. *cries*

High I my name is Kordel and I am an L owner. I don't take offense to people putting L parts on none L trucks. I do however find it funny when people put L badges on supercrews and supercabs and use the svt badge on things. Hey if you like them and want them on your KR, be my guest. It's a free country and you can do what you want. See skagel, I just added my .02

Glasses are for wussies. Out of the bottle with a brown paper bag wrapped around it.... that's how a 'TRUE MAN' drinks his fake Crown.

I don't need no stiking glass standing betweeen me and 750 milliliters of pure alcoholic pleasure!!
Remember kids, don't drink and drive--unless you want your brand spankin' new beauty of a truck to be reduced to a heap of scrap metal--sort of like Skagels..............
