Smack a supercharger on that 5.4 and giver er' hell!! You'll get a ticket in no time flat. Heck, the 5.4 will run pretty well. I've had mine up to 100+ with some pedal to go. Trust me (as he says thinking about his highschool days), 100+ WILL get you a ticket in a 45 mph work zone.

RP :)

Skagel 06-04-2002 01:26 PM

geesh...I think the fastest I have ever driven was 95mph and that was in my ex's '74 vet w/454 in it....which by the way I payed for and he got to keep....grrrr....yes, I am still bitter over that one....grrrrr.....

kschaper 06-04-2002 01:28 PM

had it up to 110 the other day. I hit 100 about daily with plenty of boost and pedal to go. Luckily no tickets cause over here around chicago I am just keeping up with traffic

i am a member at f150world and often looked here so i just decided to sing up and get more info on my truck and help some people out if need be.

Skagel 06-04-2002 01:32 PM

kschaper 06-04-2002 01:35 PM

Just north and west of the city. Holland? You were way away from where you needed to be :D

I'll bite also...can't let just one fellow L owner have all the fun. Also, just happened to be cruising and saw this as one of the hot topics on the home page and figured I'd see what it's about...

And a pic or two -

Nice truck struck. Thanks for not leaving me out here with all the KR types. They are alomost as obsessed about their trucks as we are about ours. Bunch a wierdos :D

Skagel 06-04-2002 01:41 PM

OH MY!!! nice pic's....woohoo Arizona.....alumni class of '98 UofA..and former sigma kappa girl:D

Lenticular 06-04-2002 01:49 PM

Thanks Guys......

Nice to find the names and interests of those that pass by without actually posting.

Keep the new names (and pictures) coming.

I have been involved with the motoring world and car clubs for nearly 40 years and generally there are 2 distinct groups of enthusiasts.

Those that are totally obsessed with their own particular make or model and for whom no other make is of interest....
And those like myself, and I believe many others on this forum who just love "Mechanised stuff".
12 months ago I knew diddley squat about trucks but boy have I learned fast.
Liiving in the UK much of the year trucks are a rare thing (But they are currently becoming more popular), so it is nice, thanks to my experiences in Texas and on this forum to feel that I am in the know!!

KEEP THE NAMES AND PICS COMING !!!!

Struck in AZ 06-04-2002 01:58 PM

Skagel...graduated UofA in '94 and a current Kappa Alpha!

Pics of the other toys for the visually obsessed...

And the wife's little toy (can't manage to convince her that eight cylinders and water-cooled is a good thing)...

Now if I can just find a '94-'98 Supra TT in decent shape and not priced like it's made out of gold, a clean '63 Linclon Continental convertible and a decent deal on a Ducati 996 and my collection will be complete (at least for the next six months or so).

kschaper 06-04-2002 02:01 PM

Nice bike!

Lenticular 06-04-2002 02:03 PM

Struck in AZ...

Where is Cave Creek...

No, I don't want to come and steal your toys...just interested as someone who has travelled a lot in AZ.

Thanks
;)
