rear captain seats

Just wondering if any of you folks with the rear captain seat and center console can tell me if the seat folds forward for storage on the back of it (top) like the 60-40 seats do. Trying to decide which to order? Thanks for any info

Rear Captains here. Yes, they fold forward. It requires you to remove the headrest from the seats so that they will lay all the way down (which isn't a big deal at all).

The center console sits up a little higher than the seats when they are laid down however thus, if you're planning on hauling something flat that will extend through the entirety of the back seat, it might be a little tipsy because of that console sitting up higher.

Personally, I haven't run across any times where I couldn't manage to haul whatever I wanted to haul in the backseat. I wouldn't recommend trying to layout in the backseat with your significant other though, I'm sure this would be VERY uncomfortable. Just get a little air mattress and put it in the bed for such occasions.

I love my rear captains. It's really a neat look and really sets it apart from the rest in my opinion. Feel free to email or post questions.

Color? There really isn't a choice!

CHESTNUT BROWN.

That's the only color.

Just to give you an opinion from someone that has the split bench. I like the look of the captains chairs. It is a different look that not many trucks of this type have. For my family it just wasn't practical, especially since the in-laws go with us on many occasions. It's nice to be able to take the truck when we travel with them. The bench seat operates the same as the captains chairs, you have to take the head rest off to fold them down. As far as the seats themselves I sat in one KR that had the captains inthe back and the seats felt the same as the bench except you had an arm rest with the console.

As far as your color, we were gonna get the CHESTNUT BROWN, but the only dealer that had one tried to screw us. We found the Charcoal Blue at a dealer that was trying to make an honest deal. My wife and I both love it. Of course to each his own, pick the color that you like
