Cool Hello

Hi all, I've been reading posts here for a couple weeks now, just wanted to say how great these message boards are. Lots of good information here. This is my second post now I just wanted to post a seperate "good job guys" post cause you all deserve it.

I'm posting this to the King Ranch group because our most recent edition to the family is our 02 SuperCrew King Ranch. Specs on it are:
Charcoal Blue
4x2
5.4
towing with 6600lb package
bed liner
we added an ARE lid (very nice even though it's been sent back twice for paint defects)

I guess it's actually my wife's rig, I drive a 99 Expi with a 5.4 wich I love. They are almost identical in color. The King Ranch rides a lot nicer though, but she lets me drive it from time to time. I don't have any mods on either one except a K&N filter. I'm considering putting an intake kit on my Expi since it's no longer under warranty. If you guys have any suggestions on that I'm open to them. I don't know much about the non-K&N stuff, but I am not set in stone on it. Anyway, I put some pictures in the gallery. I'll be around, thanks for everyone's good postings and info!

I have had the same exact problem with my ARE lid that just happens to also be Charcoal blue.....I think they must be having a lot of problems with this paint because my mom and sister both have the same lids and have had no problems with the paint on them at all. moms is white and my sisters is the midnight blue which because it is so dark shows everything and she has had no problems with the paint at all.

in any case welcome and enjoy your new baby....don't want to suggest any mods because I believe mods are a very personal thing and believe that your truck is an extension of your personality.
