Yeah, I got luggage. Really nice stuff. Mine didn't go to the dealership though... I actually got mine at home. You didn't get any Skagel? I'd definately look into it... it's well worth it... nice stuff!

The coolest part about the luggage is how well it matches the free leather jacket that is sent out as a gift exclusively to the people with Chestnut KRs (my dealer says it's something about building good will because there is a chestnut paint recall coming). Suppose it's OK to use the conditioner on the jacket too? If not, how will I ever use up the entire gallon bottle my dealer sent me for my birthday?

I guess Ford felt it had to make up for putting such a lousy color (chestnut) on such a nice truck.

Hey...just a minute...how many cases did you get?

I got the set of 3 matching cases in the three different sizes, plus the overnighter.
They forgot to include the Laptop case and promised to send it on, with a bonus of a spare portfolio to make up.
The color is nearly identical to the seat facing.

Hey Logical,

It's really nice to see you back. Man, it's been several months since we've heard anything from you.

I'm impressed that you wrote a whole paragraph too.

About that luggage, I got the full set with the garmet bag too and I got the same gallon pale of conditioner too and it's almost gone cause I stuffed my KR leather jacket down into the pale and left it there for a day or two. Man talk about a suple jacket!

Glad to hear you're back with us crazies.

My whole house is startin to look like the King Ranch with all the goodies piling up. And I agree about the Jacket...wearin it is like never having to leave the truck. Sure glad we went with the Chestnut.

sounds like you got jipped out of the luggage, i'd ask them to get some for you because that stuff has got to be expensive.

You only get the luggage if you were a pre-existing member of this forum at the time you ordered your truck, with at least a 100 posts already logged.

In addition you had to sign the order while standing on one leg, with your right index finger in your left ear.

If this was done on a day preceding a full moon you were automatically registered for the luggage.

Retrospective orders do not count.

The alternative offer to the luggage was a set of tiddleywinks, though the winks were not included.

Ironically, I got, not only the luggage but, I got the tiddly winks too. Each little plastic 'wink' has the KR logo embroidered on them. It's a nice piece of craftsmanship... I got winks with mine.

The luggage.. again, kinda ironic but, I wasn't standing on one foot however, I did have the index finger in my ear. I guess that they didn't notice that detail. Might have been the full moon thing that pulled me in... whew... Damn, I'm lucky.

Lenny,

You blew the whistle, now Skagel knows!

Oh well, I guess if not you then someone else would've done it sooner or later. I wonder which statement did it, the one with the finger in the ear or the standing on one leg?

Later,

DaveMan

Hmmm, I never got any notice that I could get luggage.

Maybe I was supposed to get a choice? I didn't get a choice. I just got a call one day from my dealer saying I can come pick up my sofa, chair, and ottoman set whenever I get the chance.
