Hitch cover

I saw a pic with a KR hitch cover. I have got to have one! Where did you get it...and what did it run? I'm assuming that it has a lock to keep the damn thieves away!

I also got my free gift in yesterday...very nice, and suprising to see it on my front porch! Does anyone have the blanket that they don't want? I am getting into a habit of taking a nap in the bed and getting some sun at lunch. What a way to take a nap!!! (No visuals please!)

Dufunnel took a fender badge and cut off the 'F-150' portion and rigged it into a hitch cover. It looks sharp.

Skagel, I've offered some $$ to make me a cover like the one you've got.... care to take me up on that offer?

If you are interested in getting a spare blanket they are on ebay quite often. Do a search for "supercrew". I got another one for 10 or 12 bucks.

Nah, I'd be willing to buy you a chicken soft taco from Taco Bell. That sound like a deal?

Yeah, here it is. I just bought a fender badge and replaced the Ford oval from a regular hitch cover with the King Ranch portion of the fender badge. Fairly easy to do, and yes it is locked on there. But that wouldn't keep a determined thief from ripping it off.

hey, maybe when i come out we can make some more but i would like to do them out of a thicker aluminum instead if you can get a hold of some, maybe a quarter inch thick. ya'll should have seen us making that thing, boy we sure need practice on the machine tools as dad used to make all the stuff we asked for, we made the designs and he machined it out rather quickly. working those tools is quite an art i tell you and most of those machinists don't make near what they are worth.

another simpler way to do it, but wouldn't look as good in the daylight would to be to take black paint and paint the brake light hitch cover much like the ones that say ford when you step on the brake.
