Where can I get my hands on a KR Tailgate badge like the one's I've seen on here? THANKS!

yep, i ordered mine late november early december...still i have no badge.....and my truck was supposed to come with it...rant, rave, rant......

 

I ordered one from DiscountMustangParts on ebay. They're out of stock on them right now however, I'm told they should be in THIS WEEK. (we'll see if it actually happens).

I heard someone say that the truck was supposed to come with one? This on the 01 model or 02 model? both? Somewhat curious on this....I'm wondering if I couldn't raise heck with the dealership and have them get me one. Thanks folks...

 

only the '02 models were suppose to come with them. mine is an '02 and didn't so yes i did my bit of complaining...they are gonna take care of me..

 

Ahhh, I see. Wish mine would've come with it. I mean, $30 for a freaking sticker?!?! Talk about robbery! I guess the rule of thumb is that if it has a KR logo on it, they mark the manufactured price up 600000%.

 

oh it isn't just a sticker...it is the exact same badge as is on the fenders...it is just that the plugs on the back of the badge are different.

 

Hrrm, I've seen a sticker. Anyone have a tailgate emblem picture. Maybe I'm thinking about something else. HELLLP!

 

My '02 KR came with the badge on the tailgate. It looks the same as the ones on either side of the front. I will try to remember to take a shot for you and post tonight.

 

This isn't a markup item either. Look at the Harley emblem of the same type as this one we're talking about, and they go for $100! Ouch!

 

the Harley badges aren't plastic like our KR badges and that is why they cost so much...another piece of useless info i learned from my dealer...

 

I'm really anxious to see pictures of this tailgate emblem. Does anyone know of a link for me to see this? THANKS!

 

just look at your fender. It's the same one.

 

It's the same one? There's some 'curvature' to the one that's on the fender. Surely the one that goes on the tailgate doesn't have a curvature. It wouldn't mount flush. Maybe I'm making this too tough.... I just want to know what I'm ordering before I get it here...I'm pretty sure I want it though.

 

Well, it was raining and dark when I left work today, so I'm not sure how much this will help you, but I'll attach the picture of the tailgate badge anyway. I will have to wait for a nicer day to get you a better one.
