NICE!

I like! Nice truck! Where or how did you come up with those mud guards? Did you do the 'running W' ? That looks slick.

Nope, you're not nuts. Heck, my wife is jealous of my truck. I rub on the paint more than I do on her. HAHAHA! Nice mod on the mud guards. I like...

Hey MikeF150!

I am really jealous. The truck looks great! I especially love those mud guards. Great job. The bug shield and window vent visors are amazing!

Very nice. I must say they look like you bought them that way. I may have to ponder putting the logo on mine. That looks really sharp. Do you still have your logo graphic? If so, could you email it my way? What color did you use for the logo? It matches quite well.

Love the look of the logo. I was thinking of doing something similar when I get a new bed cover and the mud flaps. The KR Cover I had to return, becuase of the gaps that leaked over the tailgate, looked very sharp with the logo on it. My wife thought I was nuts too when I told her my plans. You are not alone. What is it with wives trying to hold us back?

Hey MikeF150!

Like I posted before the truck looks great. How did you paint the window visors? On the outside? If you don't mind me asking what type bug shield did you use.

Thanks,

Joe

Well, my KR mud flaps came in off B/O and took the truck in to have them put on today. Just got a call from the service department wanting me to come down before they do the work because the color is a little off and he didn't like the way they fit (they are catching on that we are very pickey about things be just right on our baby). So, my question is, how hard was it for you to match the trim color on yours Mike? Where did you get the mud flaps and the Ariz Beige Paint? What about the flex additive? How do you mix them all together and actually paint them (roller or spray)? I'm new to all this so thanks for your help?

Adam

Yep, the Ford KR Mud Flaps were junk and returned them. The color was a different shade, and they were small, really small and didn't cover much at all. Not sure how they even got classified as a mud flap. Anyway, let me know what other options there are.

instead of mud flaps you could put the 3M film over the paint to prevent chips. won't top mud from climbing up the side of the truck but if your anything like sarah the road must be paved in rose petals before it gets driven on it anyway.
