Our KR at the KR !!!

Finally got back to the UK and recovering from jet lag.
On the way from the Rio Grande to Houston to put our KR into store managed to work our way to the King Ranch for some photos.
I only have a regular camera to scan photos from so excuse less than perfect quality...if indeed they show up at all...I am pasting the link here so I hope I do it right.
Daveman...tell me if I have done it wrong or right!

Of course you can !!

Feel free.....actually I'm not sure that it was my original idea....I vaguely remember someone else suggesting it.
The photo would seem to show the badge as off centre above the Supercrew badge...in fact I took great care to centre it as you would see if you stood directly behind!

Hey Lenny,

Great work setting up your gallery. For someone who claims they are not a computer expert, you sure could fool me.

Great looking truck and hope you get over your jet lag soon.

Later,
DaveMan

OOOps...forget that Lenny Remark !

You can tell I am STILL suffering jetlag as it is the early hours here and I can't sleep .
Nor can I make sense of the simplest quips....and there's me saying Americans don't understand irony!
I have had that Lenticular handle so long I forget that is what I am known by.....hence when I saw Lenny I thought "Huh!?"
Dozy or what ?!
Actually I quite like Lenny.....
Lenny Henry is one of our top comedians and that is who most people think of when that name is mentioned.

Okay Lenticular,

I started to use "Lenny" becuase I just know I'm going to misspell Lenticular if I'm not careful. I'ts kind of hard to misspell Lenny and it has a nice ring to it that I thought was appropriate. If you would rather I continue with your formal user name then that's okay with me, just let me know and it's done.

Just curious, did you ever get a chance to share with us KR friends what Lenticular actually means?

Hey, another funny dude over across the pond was Benny Hill, right? Now how does this sound, Benny and Lenny from the UKenny? And you thought all the crazy-funny people were over there, ha!

Cheerio old boy,

DaveMan

Not a Truck....!!!

Feel free to use "Lenny" if you like !!
Better than some of the rude names I've been awarded.

The name arose by chance when I joined up with AOL about 3 years ago....I hadn't had the sense to think out a user name prior to my phone call to join AOL, and every suggestion I made had already been taken.

In a previous life I was a pilot and I suddenly started thinking of some of the more esoteric names that pilots are confronted with in their training. Learning meteorology one is confronted with an array of new words some relating to cloud formations.
"Lenticular" is a high altitude cloud......no reason other than no one else had thought of it!

I will be away from my keyboard for a few weeks as we are taking a trip on our canal Narrow Boat...see photo...a very different way of life at 4mph exploring the network of waterways built up during the industrial revolution to speed transport in the days when rutted cart tracks were all that existed....
I may still see E Mails though if I can work out how my new "WAP" phone works....why is life getting so complicated...need a degree in Astrophysics to work it!
