Pics of new KR Arrival
I must say I made the right choice on going with the King Ranch. What a truck. I am so pleased with this thing. What a great look, feel and the comfort level is high.

Although I think the three color combinations on the KR's are the best combinations of the whole S-Crew line, I just love this blue. These KR's are just hard beat.

Going to be adding the already ordered ARE LSII Lid w/ drop in bedliner & Sub Box.

I have updated gallery and personal web site. However, I am going to be adding extensive photos and details soon on both. The truck showed up w/ some slight transit damage, but it ended up being nothing. They fixed it the right way and treated us right. I cannot find the errors. One was just a grill replacement and the other a scratch. Scratch is GONE! Amazing work.

Hey Light,
Nice, real nice! Those are some fine looking pics of your KR. I can't disagree on the KR colors either and you're right, that charcoal blue is "schweeeett". You're making me wish I had one of the KR babes myself but I can't aford one. Below are the pics of my old beater truck. Don't feel too sorry for me though!
What kind of camera man? Let me guess, it takes photos at 1600x1200 resolution and it's a Sony? Okay, if I'm wrong then that's what I'm using. Mine is a Mavica MVC-CD1000 and it burns the photos onto little 3" CDR discs instead of memory chips.

Daveman!
Thanks. I could not be happier. Im back in the mode of going and opening the back door into the garage and just stareing at it. Of course walking backwards into stores is very common.
Good guessing on the camera. I have a Sony Mavica MVC-CD300 taking pictures @ 2048X1536. They come out on the removable disk like you have as 1.2 meg files, but then I go into photo shop 6.0 and reduce them by saving for web.
But what makes me curious is that if you go on my web site on the F150 page (as opposed to the KR Page) and look at the older photos of the Lariat, taken with a standard camera at the top of the page, then look at the new ones taken of that same truck in almost the same position at the bottom of the page with the digital camera, the color is more rich and glossy looking w/ the standard camera. Not that I dont love this camera, I just have tried to find that kind of rich color w/ the many digital settings and dont seem to be able too. The pics by themselves look great, but next to the standard they are a little more faded. I love the camera however. Ease of moving photos is great, media type is good, and quality is great. I use it alot for pics of my business stuff to post quickly to the business site.
Your truck looks great. Yours was one of the inspirations for me to go KR.

Hey Light,
What's with your call name, do you work for the power co.? Glad I was a good influence on your decision to buy a KR.
What's up with the wireless phone you have in your sig, I'm interested in knowing what thats all about.
Your camera has a CDRW drive in it doesn't it? Mine just has a CDR burner so I can't use the CDRW discs but they are much more expensive than CDRs anyway. BTW, I saw where Staples has Memorex 80mm discs for less than a buck each with 180 Mb and are supposed to be compatible with Sony CDR cameras. I have several extra discs from Sony of which I paid around $4 each so if the Memorex pocket cds will work I can save a bundle.
Talk later,
DaveMan

HANDS FREE PHONE SYSTEM: I have a Nokia 6162 phone. Nokia offers a car kit for hands free operation. I bought one for the other truck and then uninstalled it last week and will be putting the same system into this truck. It has a phone holder which brackets to the dash (in area of air control system) w/ FORD F150 style bracket (which they make for lots of different vehicles) and you place the phone into this holder when you get into the truck and it then provides a rapid charge to the phone. It also then is tied to a speaker which mounts under the dash air system at floor level. This way when you dial a number and call, it all comes thru the speaker. Then there is a mic which is mounted on the door panel jam on drivers left just above the oh s--t handles. So you can dial the phone, talk and hear conversation thru the mic and speaker w/out touching the phone or holding it. It also has better reception because it is also tied to an antenna that I have mounted to the back glass.
There is also a priviacy hand set which mounts with the phone holder bracket which is a seperate ear and mic set. The purpose of this is to be able to talk privately with someone w/out others in the vechicle being able to hear you. If the phones in the holder, and it rings and you answer it, you cannot take it out of the holder w/out disconnecting the line. So if the call you get needs to be private and your surrounded, you can just pick up the handset (which is very light and thin - better than holding phone) and you have now cut off the public mic and speaker by running that thru the handset.
It sounds like alot but it's really pretty simple. It really does improve the reception. Any AT&T store can show you the whole kit. I think I got it orginnaly for about $250 - $300 but this will be the 2nd truck im putting it in. I feel like im getting my moneys worth. You can install and take out w/ out any damage to truck at all. If I traded phones I would have to get a different holder but thats it. The kit has: Holder, Antenna, Mic, Speaker, Reciever / junction box that it all connects to, mic-speaker handset & mountng bracket. I will post detailed pics when done. (1) week?
For me it's a life saver. Im on the phone all day everyday and it helps me alot. I can write crap down while on the phone since I dont have to hold the phone. (Have to find time to drive in there somewhere too) It's all in an effort to keep from wrapping my truck around a phone pole because im trying to hold phones, juggle pens, hamburgers & drinks while watching on coming lanes for Cops (Officers) who dont want me doing 80.

That was long, Sorry
Heres the only pic I have now from the Lariat.

Camera:
I have to use the Sony Mavica CDR or CDRW. They are approx $6 a piece. But I use the CDRW, take pics on the camera, record to disk, put on computer, delete photos and do it again. Great! I love this camera.
Hope the phone explanation was helpful.

Hey Lightguy,
Didn't bother me at all, I like details and thanks for the info on the phone setup.
As for the camera, I use the CDRs only and I have never paid more than $4 per disk. Were you saying you paid $6 for a standard 80mm CDR or was that the price for the 80mm CDRW?
Maybe I should create a thread on cameras so we can rant and rave without muddying up this thread. Let me know and if you think a new thread is needed then let's do that, otherwise we can just continue on this one.

ok first i would like to say i love the truck and the color is choice....i am a little partial to the blue myself.
second i am pissed....i seem to be the only one who bought a '02 KR who doesn't have the KR badge on my tailgate.....i have the F150 supercrew badge which i don't like.....anyways i ordered myself a badge.....cost me $36.55 with tax and they said they would install it for me...i am gonna whine and complain...which i know you guys know us chicks are very good at......and see if they will credit me for the badge......now i drive around very self conscious of my lacking KR badge on my tailgae.
oh yeah...did your KR come with spare tire lock it was supposed to come with?.....mine didn't
