The bottom portion of my drivers seat on my 03 KR is getting worn while the Pass side looks like new. Has anybody tried swapping them? I know that the controls prevent you from just unbolting and swapping the entire seat assembly, but can the upholstered seat bottoms in their entirety be removed from the lower seat frame and swapped or do you have to strip the leather upholstery from the innards?

 

You can disassemble the seat down to component but the leather or material will have holes for seat adjustment on the wrong side.

The right side on my truck has the movement front to back upfront on the seat. the lumbar adjustment will be on the wrong side. Plus the driver side has power adjustments.
