06 KR seats

Ive read from different forums from cleaning seats with JJ baby shampoo Lexol Cleaning Tried a few even with hot damp cloths they go black and then dry up. Looks better then what they did. But now I have a few black spots in different areas prolly from dirt sweat build up.. How would I go about lifting them up before I condition them.. Thanks in advance !!!

You might get a better response if you post this in the interior care section. I'm not sure what the best way would be, maybe try a scrub brush and some soapy water. One guy posted that he used carb cleaner on his KR seats, but I wouldn't try that because you might ruin your seats.

J&J works very good, the black is probaly just more dirt or the seat hasnt totally dried yet.Keep cleaning the small areas and it should be good, its not going to look great after the first spa treatment. You may have to do 6 or 12 times over a few weeks or months to get the results you are looking for. What conditioner are you using?

Were those taken after you used the conditioner or a wet cleaning method?

I dont think he has conditioned yet by the way he responded in post 4. Could be wrong though

OP
Looks to me like they are very dry and still a little dirty. Keep doing the treatment to them.. Make sure you are using the hottest water you can use while doing this, it will help alot. After that get some leather cpr from walmart or KR conditioner or poorboys leather stuff and start conditioning them

I have had good results with Eaffax, this doesn't change the color. I bought the seats on ebay they were out of a 2010 KR. I installed them, was able to get them in a comfortable position. I need a photo of the connector from the truck, my xlt has 7 wires in the plug. The seats have about 12. Any help here? My truck is also 2010 and the seat bolt in perfect.
