New to this forum. I have been looking on here before and getting ideas on what to get from Ford. But now finally a member as now I just put a deposit down today on my new 2011 F150 King Ranch Ecoboost.

Heres what I got:

Now the sleepless nights begin, as it should be here in 10-12 weeks. I'll post pictures once it comes in!!!

You ordered almost exactly the same as I did except mine is going to be Tuxedo Black with a few other options like: moonroof, bed extender, chrome bug shield. I figured hell if I'm ordering a $50K truck, and can't afford another few grand for all the bells and whistles, I better not be buying it in the first place! lol.

I've been following your posts. Glad to hear there's somebody else pissed/dissapointed/anxious about waiting on their KR ecoboost. Jan. 6th is when I ordered and STILL no VIN and my dealer has no clue when that'll come down the pipe.

 

Ya I thought the same thing about getting the KR...might as well get everything...i got the moonroof as well, plus tonneau cover, chrome exhaust tip, and bed mat. Will be looking into getting a spray on, but up in Whitehorse theres not much so it will be some time before that happens.

Ya its frustrating that theres no progress but it'll be worth the wait for sure. I spoke with my dealer the other day and he mentioned that in April is when the KR are supposed to be built... I dont know how the build process works but he said that there are two slotted weeks for em in April (early and late) so if all goes well he said either late April to middle of May for the truck.

 

I am going to order mine tomorrow. Getting ecoboost offroad package with 6 1/2 foot bed, navigation in Oxford white.

 

Finally got my VIN#! After 4 months of waiting on a Vin#, I think I may actually have a truck here in less than a month!

 

I am picking mine up today. Was told by the dealer I had a build date of 5-9 and they called today and said it's here. Thank god fir miracles.

 

well some bad news on mine...still no build date or VIN number!! I'm going to go today to the dealer and get my deposit back. This is getting ridiculous. At least if it was built and sitting there or I knew when it is supposed to be built I would be fine but nothing in 9 weeks of waiting.
Although I talked to another dealer and was told he would be able to do a dealer trade for one that I found (my dealer here is small). So hopefully i'll be getting something. Anyways this will definitely be the last time I order a vehicle (at least from my dealer)

 

So went to the dealer and nothing. I ended up cancelling my order as he still had no answer as to when this truck may get built. I have found another truck to the exact one that I ordered at another dealer so I will try to deal on that.

The reason not being built the last two weeks is no pirelli tires for 20's.

 

I've also read on here in several places that the Nav's are running out and there won't even be any for the whole 2012 model year. That may be another reason for your delay.

 

ooh thats long over now! It was at 10 week when i cancelled and the dealer said it may take up to another 5 weeks before I took delivery...so I cancelled it and then took off the lot a 2011 F150 Ecoboost Lariat - Pale Adobe with the Dark Leather interior, fully loaded (lariat chrome pkg, nav, 20" rim, off-road, max tow, tailgate step, )

 

Hi there: I ordered a brand new 2011 k/r with Eco-Boost engine and every other conceivable option possible, except for the off-road pkg. Mine will also have the running boards with the color matched hard tonneau from FORD, and FORD doesn't offer this colour as an accessory I will have to get it painted @ a body shop. Mine was ordered June 17/2011 and I understand it's getting built 1st week in Aug. Can't WAIT!!
