OK, So this morning I was hit from behind and will need a new rear bumper and maybe a new towing hitch... we will see tomorrow after I take it to the "All State" body shop... So anyone know what the payout for a new bumper will be? I was thinkning of getting a new wrap-around bumper if the payout would cover it instead of replacement... the Chrome is bent, and creased... and the plastic step cover up top is mared and scratched... The hitch looks like it got the paint knocked off of it at the joint.. tail gate and everyting else looks ok so far, and I dont feel in rattle or pull the way it drives... Her car may be totaled though (Dodge Caliber) Steel beats plastic everytime...

 

You don't need a new hitch. Your frame would be tweaked before your hitch would need replacing.

The bumper: Just keep it stock chrome.
