King Ranch Interior
King Ranch Interior
Ive got a lariat and am looking into possibly getting a king ranch for my next truck and in the past have heard nothing but bad things about the interior. Does it fade after a couple years? Am i gonna have to be rubbing leather conditioner on it every week to keep it looking good? Is it tough? Thanks.

If you have only heard bad things about the interior you have been listening or looking in the wrong places.
Look a quarter inch above your post and you will see more information about King Ranch leather than you can shake a stick at.
Rather than try to precis here what has taken many hours to condense into the above, just take an hour of your time...probably won't even be that long...and read the posts in the leather care thread.
It will easily repay your time rather than relying on inaccurate hearsay.
One important factor of course...are you buying new or pre owned.
If the later take the time to find the best interior you can, otherwise if new it's all down to you and your pride of ownership.

Your seats will be whatever you make of them. It aint that hard, listen to Lenticular...and decide whether you want to invest a small amount of time. If you take care of your prized possessions, you should not have any trouble with the Castano leather.
The KR leather is not coated with plastic like in Lariat or Platinum. If the truck sits outside, it will require effort to keep the leather in good condition to combat the sun's effects.
The upside of the leather is the comfort gets better with age, assuming you condition and protect the leather.
So if you have kids, a dog or cat, or not wanting to do basic leather conditioning every couple of months, then the KR leather isn't probably a good choice.
