Mine is not a KR but this is where I have my CB mounted in my truck. I tried to find a place to mount it on the console but could not find a flat spot on the front that wasnt in the way of the cubby or was not in my way.

Got my cb installed and here are some pics i dont really like where the antenna is but i had it mounted on the roof and i couldnt get the end of the antenna plug threw my 3rd brake light so i took it down to the bed and took one of the vents off on the back of the cab and took the wire under the carpet to the center console.

Over all i think it looks pretty good maybe later down the road i can get a taller antenna to screw onto the base in the bed so i can get better reception.

looks good. they also make a cb antennae that mounts on your back glass kind of like those older cell phone hands free antenna's if your not wanting a huge one sticking out. not sure how well they preform

I once that the antenna that mounts on the glass like a cell antenna and it was surprisingly good.
