Ouch! My steering wheel ...

I had an oops yesterday while getting out of my truck. I had a pen in my pants pocket and while getting out of the truck, the tip of the ballpoint pen went through my pocket and caught the steering wheel. Damaged the leather a bit, unfortunately. I will post a pic a little later so that I can get some help with this. Annoyed I did this.

As promised, here is a photo of the damage. It's along the top of the steering wheel, just to the right of top center.

That is indeed an 'oops'.

Not sure how you get round that one......will give it some thought.

(You could fit a sheepskin steering wheel cover !) (Sorry !)

Thanks Len!

I may have to look at a leather repair place around here - if I can find a good one. Maybe just a little glue will do the trick!

I don't want to cause any further damage, or inadvertently rip it more, so I'm hoping it's something that I can get done soon.

Clean the ink off, and try and claim it on warranty. The only way is to replace it.
