well my tires were gettin bad, so i thought the noise was comin from my tires, i got some diffrent ones put on, and still have the noise, any ideas what it could be? tie rod end or something?

I hear road noise, but I think its the big tires on my KR, I just turn up the radio.

 

stupid as it sounds - i had road noise for about a week and couldn't figure out why, then i happened to hit my power rear slider button one day and i heard the "clunk" from behind me. wasn't open anymore than an 1/8 inch but wow could you really hear some noise.

i beleive i found mine, a wheel bearing, anyone know how much to replace one of these?

 

Most likely a wheel bearing, good diagnosis racin. Are you going to do it yourself?

 

replaced both wheel bearings, still got the noise, maybe its just the wide tires make more noise, i duno really im used to it, i just turn the radio up, just is bad when people ride with me askin what the noise is

 

try putting it in 4hi and see if the noise goes away. i think you're experiencing IWE solenoid / actuator problems. Mine sounds exactly like the hum of tires and hasn't gotten as bad as some - and i'm in the midst of fixing it. There have been several failures with them. here are a few links:
