Couple questions

Hey everybody Im new to the site and just bout an 01 King Ranch 4.6L. I was wondering if anybody has any ideas on where to put a sub or two with the back seats being captains chairs. I want it to be out of the way though. And also does anybody have dual exhaust on their 4.6L? Was thinking of doing cats no mufflers, but dont know if it would sound wierd. Thanks fellas.

I'm nearly certain that the KR was only offered in a 5.4L...

As for location for equipment, I've seen some custom enclosures made for the rear console but, short of that, there's not any great way to do it from what I've seen. User dufunnel (might try searching here within the King Ranch Forum) made a custom one for his 2001 KR...

JL audio makes a box called a stealth box that goes between the captains chairs. it is a box with one 12" speaker in it that mounts between the captains chairs and then you slide the console back over the box and you never know that there is a sub there. i had one in my 2005 and i loved it. you wont find a cleaner sounding sub. then you can just mount the amp behind or under the seat.
