Have a 2008 F-250 KR. have a litlle more than a year wt it. I been using the KR conditioner on my leather about every 2-3 months. Everything looks great except my console. it started to fade and the leather feels ruff in some parts. Can somebody give me some advice on how i can fix it or does it get covered by the warranty. Thanks for the help.

There is no doubt that on occasions some Castano leather can feel 'rough' as though it has not been prepared for sale quite as well as most of the leather.
I have some that feels rough on the side of my head rests, but as no one ever sees it or feels it, except me when I condition it, I have never bothered about it.
I think it will be difficult if not impossible to deal with it yourself so maybe best to consult the dealer.

In posts from the past regarding this issue, some people found it helpful to arm themselves with "empty" bottles of the KR Conditioner when they went in to make their claim on the leather, showing that this is what was used as recommended by Ford, etc...

Good Luck

First line of attack would be replacement... once the leather has generally been 'suaded' (aka: split leather), it's going to be nearly impossible to correct.

We should also note though that this isn't Castano; it's Chaparral (2008 Super Duty).

I stand by my post: They are still using the KR conditioner for the Chaparral leather if I'm not mistaken? If you tell Ford that you were using what is recommended, and it still screws up, that is one thing in your favor!

Correct... mind you though, I wasn't trying to debunk your post.
