needed right (passenger) mirror

Ouch !!!!!!!!! my wifes beloved truck got it's first ding. She has a 2006 f150 King Ranch and while backing into the garage she broke her passenger mirror. It has all the standard king ranch options Electric, w/heated/signal-flash, w/puddle light, Does anyone have one of these for sale or know where we can get one?? I thought I would at least try here as I know some swap these out for towing mirrors, the garage wants $436 OUCH. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Bob

Bob this is a long shot, but have you tried any local salvage yards? Also you might have some luck on Ebay. $400 bucks is a freaking rip off. I bet it costs them about $20 bucks to make it. I went to a salvage yard once and got 2 side mirrors for $10 a piece. Takes tons of luck on color etc.

I think the kicker with the KR's mirrors are they are powered... not only with the puddle lamp but with the power fold as well.

I know there are several guys in the 2004-2008 forum that completed a switch over to power fold mirrors (versus the standard mirror). You may do a couple of quick searches around within that forum; I believe they were all generally getting their parts from one location (which was seemingly the lowest price).

Good luck... sorry about your headaches!
