How do you remove the rear bucket seats to take out the sub box underneath the seat?

 

on my 07 lariat screw, all you have to do is fold up the seat on that side, then take out a couple of bolts with a hex head, and it pops right out, just dont forget to unplug the amp before you yank

 

I'm a little confused by your question... let me explain...

The 2001 & 2002 KR came with 'true' rear bucket seats. In fact, the vehicle was a four seater because all were buckets (with front and rear consoles). That said, the 2001-2003 did not come with a sub beneath the seats.

The 2005-2008, however, did not come with bucket seats in the rear but *did* have the available audiophile option which features a sub beneath the rear seats.

If you're in a 2005-2008, schreiberdrew's method is spot on. If not, you may have something that's a bit more custom and may require a bit more thought.
