Does anyone condition the steering wheel

I did some cleaning today. I wondered if anyone conditioned their steering wheel?

Thanks
Bob

i do - i wipe it down with a warm moist MF towel and then use the KR conditioner. i usually wait 12 hrs or so to drive it so that it has time to absorb in.

It doesn't turn the white stitching dark or dirty looking?

What would stain the stitching would be the oils and dirt from your hands, not the conditioner. I have seen some nasty looking steering wheels in KR's that had decent looking seats. Must have been afraid to get anything on their hands?

That's a Yes

Been doing the "spa" treatment to my steering wheel's leather since I got my 2001. It'll be 9 years this June that my truck has been owned and the steering wheel is a nice patina - shinny near where the leather ends and uniform in color top & bottom - though a bit darker than the seats. Gotta' love those microfiber cloths + water as hot as I can stand on my old hands (does feel good though) + (for me) CPR cleaner / conditioner. Most recent pic HERE

Your seats look almost the same as my 02!

We're going to have to do a "post 'em if you got 'em" picture thread this summer for those of us still around who are original owners of 2001-2003 KRs..... mine needs a good Zaino job & it's good to go...
