Need some measurements from an 03' KR owner

So here is what I need....
I own a 03' 4x4 king ranch super crew. My wife is pregnant and its getting more and more difficult for her to climb up inside the truck comfortably. I have the factory chrome nerf bars as side steps. I know that some other KR owners have this model truck with the other side steps from factory. I'm not sure if they are plastic or fiberglass, but I've seen pics of them and it looks like they may sit a little lower than my chrome ones.

I was hoping that someone out there that has a similar year/model/4x4 with these other steps could tell me what the height is from the ground to the step. If it is significantly lower I might opt to swap them, although I love the chrome ones.

I have stock size tires, but the truck does sit up pretty high, I gotta admit its pretty hard for someone who is about 5'2" to get in.

I would appreciate it if someone could shoot this information to me, I don't wanna be caught in a parking lot somewhere with a tape measure to some strangers truck.

Oh, and by the way if you know of a aftermarket step that looks good and would help out with my situation, let me know.

Thanks,
rob

Rob, I have an '02 SuperCab with the factory running boards, same body style but not a Screw. The height at the front of my boards is an even 15", and at the rear is 15 1/2" if that helps any???

Check the pic in my sig

I think the important thing is the year the 4x4 and stock tires are the same. I will measure mine later to see the diff. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Yes, mine is stock height, tires and is a 4 X 4, so it shouldn't be much diffferent than yours.

Good luck, and Congrats on the new addition!
