Is it rare???

Fellow King Ranchers..greetings!! I'm new to this venue. I've had my 03 KR for about 1.5 yrs and love it. Had a 97 F150 est cab 4X4 w/255K mi prior to this one. How rare is the 03 kr/ext cab/flareside? I almost traded it for a 06
MARK LT until the local FORD dealership had issues with the authenicity.
Per vin and all markings it's real. If in fact it is "rare" purhaps I'll keep her.

If I am not mistaken, 2003 was the only year that the KR was available with that style bed.

The "Original" KR's, ('01 - '03), were pretty much by order only, although a few dealers had one or two on their lots. They weren't mass produced like now. I looked at an '02 Flairside on a lot in Kansas City before I found my current Super Cab used for MUCH less. Check out my gallery for pics, expedition. Now, you can only get a KR in the Super crew style.

KRM is correct... 2003 was the only year.

They're fairly uncommon but, being that they were only produced one year, there was less of a chance for them to be out there (similar to the 03 Black KR).

Of every 10 KRs that I see around here (01-03), I'd say one of them is a SCAB; the rest are SCREWs.

Hey Timberdoodles thanks for the praise! The color is Charcoal Blue Metallic/Arizona Beige. What I really wanted when I finally got around to purchasing one, was the Chestnut Metallic/Arizona Beige. But alas, the dealer only had this one and a Estate Green/Arizona Beige but I couldn't go with that shade of green. They had Screws in the Chestnut but I didn't want the smaller bed on the Screw.
