KR soft tonneau cover - fyi

In case anyone is looking for one of the original KR soft tonneau covers that Ford used to sell, I stumbled across this listing on Criag's list - out on LI. Dated 12/10 but may still be available....

Nice find, Mike! Those things - as you and I both remember - were GOLD just a few years ago. If I recall correctly, there was one on Ebay that finished up around $1,000 once...

Great find!!! I'm tempted to snag it and be greedy.

Hi Brad! Hope all is well & you're enjoying the holidays... (you're probably having a great time as a Fins fan... ! Guess it's officially a recession now with "Man-genius" out of work now...:o)

I would have looked into the cover, but I'm just about all King-Ranched out.... (god forbid! :o) I still have Andy's old Leer cap on mine and it's driven rarely nowadays.... (7 years old, 67 K)

With all the new faces here over the years, I must be one of the few that is an original new owner of an 01-03 model & still has it.... one of theses days, we'll have to do a "show & tell" for original 01-03 owners...

Yep... you definitely own a classic. Frankly (and I've publically said this several times now), I wish I still had my 01'. There was something much more 'special' about that truck...

I'm actually quite glad that the holidays are winding down. Towing an 18 month old around the state for 5 days was way too much. I wish our parents understood that our schedule is out of control because of them and all we do is run. That, in turn, makes our holiday season miserable and nearly impossible to enjoy with our little girl. Things need to change but, with the way that 'some people' within the family are; they won't change -- not even near it, in fact. (I could go on and explain further but, I'll refrain -- just trust me.)

Anyway, great find again on the tonneau and good to see you still lurking in the shadows. You're right; there are a lot of new faces here but, it's always great to still run into an occasional 'old timer' too!

Hello again.

You guys are still here? Thank God. Happy New Year to everyone. I still have my 02 KR. I just turned 88,000 miles. We made a Christmas trip to Myrtle Beach and had truck trouble. Broken valve spring, etc.. We are home again after much ado. That cover still looks great, and it is in my home turf. Hope all is well with everyone, even the Dolfans.

JOE! Great to see you, man! A few of the 'old timers' are coming out of the woodwork on this one!

John? Sarah? Dave? Andy? (who else am I forgetting?)

I wouldn't qualify myself as an 'old-timer,' but I am a 2-time owner of a King Ranch. My 2001 that I had way back then, and now my 2006. Guess I'll have to promote one more time to be able to afford a brand new one. Looks like that might be in 2011...

Hey Joe... glad to see you're still hanging onto the KR! I still pop in here once in awhile when I have time.... spending alot more time over at the FJ Cruiser forums since getting one last year... my KR basically sits in the drive nowadays for the occasional trip/errand...

Pretty soon we'll have to have a KR Trivial Pursuit contest.... 1st question (without doing a search) - What's the name Sarah gave her KR and why?

LOL!

You know, we've both seen his photo --- he kind of resembles him. However, I'm certain that he cannot text message as quickly as Ozzie. I feel confident that he's probably riden on a Crazy Train though.
