Pompous Posturing

Him: I gotta Dodge 2500, lifted with custom exhaust.
Me: Nice. I have an F-150 King Ranch.

Him: I just bought a brand new F-150 XLT with the towing package.
Me: Nice. I have an F-150 King Ranch.

350 lb 6' 8'' Sales Manager at my company: I bought a brand new Tundra and tricked it all out.
Me: Nice. I have an F-150 King Ranch. I'm having a tailgate party next weekend, but you shouldn't come over. Your insurance won't cover it.

Her, hot as heck with nice hooters: I have a green '87 F-350 flatbed.
Me:

Good friend: My Sierra looks good all cleaned up, huh?
Me: It's scratched all to hell. Did you see my King Ranch over there?

Wife: Your truck takes up too much room in the garage.
Me: <smack>

Is it just me, or am I overly proud of my truck?

Now, now, now Cowboy, seems to me that someone is setting themselves up for an ash whoopin'. Simmer down now... everyone notices your King Ranch without any comments. Quietly watch their eyes looking at that sweet King.

That is pretty funny. I get a lot of second looks as well, probably b/c most guys drive trucks around here and know the difference.

Love the truck but less than a week of ownership and I already have my first rock chip in the windshield....dang freeways around here!

Smoke, you have convinced me.

This picture really does show the unique qualities of the Mahogony color. It's growing on me...

But it's still not Copper...

Yes, it still IS NOT copper - which I wanted first, too. But, I'll take it. It grows on me every day. I'm just hoping the 2009's go with something like Burnt Baked Beans or something else! Then I'll have Mahogany to myself... only on 2008's!
