Pics of dash
What do you mean? The panels aren't lining up correctly or something? Did you buy it new?
Ask your stealership if it bothers you... maybe they'll tweak it under the factory 3/36k?
I have not noted any discombobulations with my passenger airbag panel... not yet, at least.

I see. My question about it being brand new was fishing to see if, maybe by some stretch of the imagination, it had been in a previous accident where the bag could have been deployed.... Thankfully, it doesn't sound as though this is the case.
That said, I'm wondering if that is an individual part that is hand mounted during assembly rather than a part that comes as part of the dash assembly (which goes in to the truck nearly complete, minus trim, during assembly).
Again, if it's a manufacturing defect, the 3/36k should cover it... even if it's not and it's an annoyance to you (which it would be to me too), I'd fish to have my stealership take care of the problem on their nickel. That's just me though...

....still though. I understand your pain. When you drop $40k+ into a truck, you kind of expect a certain level of professionalism and, to a certain extent, perfection.
Like you, I'd be interested in getting the 'details' correct. I nit-picked my 2001 pretty good to the point that the service writer would just laugh at my requests -- but she'd always make sure that they were done.
