Smile 2005 F 150 KR Keyless door code

Hello Everyone. New member here. I just bought a used 2005 King Ranch Super Crew with 55,200 Miles for $18,700.00.

I do not have the original door code. Where can I locate the keyless door code hidden in a 2005 ford f-150? How do I reset the code and program a new one?

Thanks for the help.

I think you will need to get it read by a dealer, that is what I needed to do. Dealer did it at no charge. The directions to set it to something else were located in my owners manual.

If you can find the module that controls this under the dash, the code is on a label on the outside of it. I know that on the 97-03 models the module was under that dash above the driver's feet. It is a white of very light colored box with the five digit code visible by looking up there. Good luck!

The keycode is on a computer module, located BEHIND the backseat in the '04+ models. Of course, you can spend an hour or so removing the seat and putting it back, or you can take a trip to the dealership.

I took mine in for the same situation, and they wanted $30 to retrieve the code. Hopefully, your dealership is kinder.

Sounds like a good deal on your KR.

I had forgotten my code from my 05...and lost the slip with the original #. Dealer retrieved it at no cost and, as mentioned in a previous post, instructions on changing are in the manual.

And welcome to the group

I had my dealer read the code when I bought the truck - couldn't find the little card with it from the factory - I'd take it back where you bought it and insist that they provide the code for you.

Welcome to the group, just be weary of the injector problems on the '05s - I had to replace mine not too long ago.
